Ratio - staff to dogs 1:15
At Central Bark we believe in the safety of your dogs. We have a 1 Canine attendant to every 15 dog ratio. This allows each attendant to be able to keep an eye on the pups they are responsible for. We believe that this ratio allows each dog the attention they deserve when at daycare. There will always be at least 1 attendant in the room at all times.
We are located in the beltline and are not permitted to have outdoor space therefore, we do our best to get the dogs out on either outdoor potty breaks, leashed pack walks or off-leashed walks. The time vary from 15-60 mins depending on the weather, pack leader, and if your dog can physically handle the distance we walk for. Please keep in mind that not all dogs are alike on leash and therefore may have to go on individual shorter walks. There is a max of 5 dogs on leashed pack walks.
Location of walks vary from day to day. Leashed walks are towards the pumphouse theatre. Off-leash walk locations vary day to day. Killarney off-leash, Edworthy Off-leash and Sunalta Off-leash are our favourite spots to take the pups. Max of 10 dogs on off-leash pack walks.
