Puppy Furriends Classes - 6 week program
Saturday, June 1st, 2024 @ 11:00am-11:45am. - 6 week program every Saturday.
Cost: $300+Tax
Puppy Furriends classes are suitable for all dogs under 6 months of age that have received at least 2 sets of vaccinations. These 45 minute classes will be held at Central Bark Doggy Daycare (2004 10 Ave SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturdays at 11:00am. We will focus on appropriate dog to dog socialization, basic obedience skills, and human interactions and handling. The purpose of this class is to start you and your dogs off on the right foot in your training journey!
Topics include:
Basic manners including: sit, stay, down, leave it, name recognition, recall and more.
Handling and self control.
Crate training
Polite greetings, Calm touch, Positive Association
Loose Leash walking/Recall and more.
This program is suitable for dogs under 6 months of age and includes six sessions to set your puppy up for a lifetime of success.
What should I bring to class?
A leash (4-6ft, no flexi leashes) and a harness.
No pinch/prong collars, choke chains, e-collars, Martindale collars and clickers in class.
Lots of small treats. Bring more than you think you will need.
General Notes:
All breed types are welcomed.
At least one handler must be 18 years or older. Families are welcomed to join the class with their pups.
Min. 2 sets of Vaccinations required.
Non-refundable after registration. Classes will not be refunded if classes are missed by participant.
Max 6 students/class.
Registrations and waiver forms are completed through Furriends Dog Walking and Training.
